Sleep Lamp III: How to Create a Calm Bedroom Sanctuary

A calm bedroom does more than look nice — it genuinely makes it easier to wind down at the end of the day. The Sleep Lamp III is one of the easiest ways to turn any bedroom into a proper sleep sanctuary. Here's how our customers use theirs.
What the Sleep Lamp III actually does
It's a bedside lamp with three features that together make bedtime easier:
- Adjustable warm light — dim it right down to a gentle glow, or brighten for reading. Warm hues and soft pastels instead of the harsh white of a phone screen.
- Soothing sounds — built-in ambient tones and nature sounds that fade out when you're ready to sleep.
- Sleep timer — gradually dims the light and fades the volume over time, so you don't have to reach back up once you've settled in.
Three quick ways customers use it
- As a wind-down signal for kids. Switching on the Sleep Lamp becomes the "start of bedtime" routine — 20 minutes of warm light and quiet sound, then the timer takes over.
- As a replacement for phone-in-bed scrolling. If you're trying to stop reaching for your phone before sleep, a soft bedside lamp with ambient sound gives you something else to focus on.
- As a reading light that knows when to stop. Read under the brighter setting, then trigger the sleep timer — it handles the fade to dark for you.
Setting up your sleep sanctuary
A few things our customers mention make the bigger difference:
- Position matters. Bedside table or the floor beside the bed — you want to be able to reach the touch controls without sitting up.
- Pair it with blackout curtains. The lamp controls the last 30 minutes before sleep; blackout curtains control the rest of the night.
- Combine with a weighted blanket. A lot of customers buy the Sleep Lamp alongside our weighted blankets — the two together are a proper sleep setup.
- Use the timer from day one. Don't leave it on manual — the auto-dim is the whole point.
