Shipping Policy

Order Processing Time

Once you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email. Sensory Assist processes and dispatches orders within 3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). In most cases, orders are shipped the next business day.

You will receive a notification email as soon as your order is shipped.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated using real-time carrier rates based on your shipping address, package size, and weight. These rates are displayed at checkout using our carrier integration app, and we do not mark up shipping fees calculated by this app.

We want to make delivery easy to understand, especially for larger items like the Egg Chair.

Free Delivery to Metro Areas

We offer free shipping to these metro regions:

  • Sydney Metro
  • Melbourne Metro
  • Brisbane Metro
  • Adelaide Metro

What is considered “Metro”?
Metro typically includes addresses within 25km of the CBD of these cities. That generally covers most inner and middle suburbs. Here are some examples:

Sydney Metro: Parramatta, Ryde, Sutherland, Northern Beaches, Inner West
Melbourne Metro: Essendon, Box Hill, Dandenong, Werribee
Brisbane Metro: Carindale, Chermside, Indooroopilly, Logan Central
Adelaide Metro: Glenelg, Norwood, Elizabeth, Marion

If you're within this approximate 25km radius, free shipping should automatically apply at checkout.

Live Outside These Areas?

If you’re in a regional, remote, or outer metro area (more than 25–30km from the CBD), a freight charge will apply.

Shipping Carriers

  • Domestic Orders:

    • Standard orders are shipped with Australia Post.
    • Bulky items are shipped via couriers, including My Team GE.
    • Express Post is available for orders shipped with Australia Post.
  • International Orders:

    • All international orders are shipped using Australia Po

  • Free Shipping:

    • Free Shipping is shipped as regular Australia Post.
    • Bulky items are shipped via couriers, including My Team GE.

Claims and Insurance

  • Sensory Assist is not liable for lost or damaged parcels.
  • Australia Post limits claims for uninsured shipments to $99.95.
  • To protect your purchase, we recommend selecting Australia Post Insurance at checkout.

If you choose not to insure your shipment, any compensation for lost or damaged parcels will be limited to the amount set by Australia Post.


Order Tracking

  • You can check your order status by logging into your account.
  • Once your order has been shipped, we will send you a tracking number via email.
  • Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If your order has not arrived within seven days of receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at info@sensoryassist.com.au with your name and order number, and we will investigate the issue.


Delivery Information

Orders may arrive in separate packages depending on the items purchased. If you are missing an item, please log into your account to check for any split deliveries or shipping updates.
