Improving Sleep Quality with the Chill Blanket
Sleep quality drops sharply when you overheat. Your body wakes you to cool down, you toss and turn, and the next morning you feel like you barely slept. The Chill Blanket is designed to remove the temperature problem from the equation, so the rest of your sleep routine can do its job.
Why temperature matters more than you think for sleep
The biggest cause of poor sleep in Australian summers isn't noise, light, or stress — it's heat. Your body's natural sleep cycle requires a slight drop in core temperature to fall asleep, then steady cool through the deeper sleep stages. When the bedroom is too warm, or your covers trap too much heat, your body keeps waking itself to dump that heat.
The Chill Blanket addresses this at the source. Instead of insulating you, it actively pulls heat and moisture away — so your body can settle into deeper sleep stages and stay there.
What customers notice in the first week
- Falling asleep faster — without the cover-kicking restlessness of overheating.
- Fewer night wakings — the body isn't disturbed by sweating at 2am.
- Waking up less sweaty — sheets stay drier, mornings feel less sticky.
- More consistent sleep through the week — fewer "bad nights" caused by warm weather.
The Chill Blanket — $169

Best for: Hot sleepers, anyone in a warm climate, people whose sleep is regularly disturbed by overheating, partners with mismatched temperature preferences.
What customers say
"I've tried sleep tracking, magnesium, cutting back on screens — none of it made the difference the Chill Blanket did. Turns out my problem was just heat." — Andre, NSW
"My Oura ring deep-sleep score went up significantly in the first two weeks. Same routine, just a different blanket." — Pri, VIC
"I bought one for the spare room because guests kept saying our house was too hot to sleep in. Best thing I've done for our Airbnb reviews." — Janet, QLD
Common questions
Is the Chill Blanket a weighted blanket?
No. The Chill Blanket is cooling only. If you want calming weight as well, see our Weighted Blankets guide. Many customers own both — Chill in summer, weighted in winter, or layered together.
How long does it take to feel the difference?
Most customers notice cooler nights immediately. Sleep quality improvements (deeper sleep, fewer wake-ups) usually settle in within the first week.
Will it work if my bedroom isn't air-conditioned?
Yes — that's actually the situation it's designed for. Australian customers without aircon are some of our happiest Chill Blanket users.
Does it suit kids?
Yes — it's a regular blanket in size and shape, just made from cooling fabric. Many parents buy them for kids' bedrooms in summer.
Are cooling blankets NDIS funded?
Many NDIS plan managers will fund cooling and sleep products as low-cost assistive technology. We're no longer NDIS registered, but you can purchase from us and claim through your plan manager.
