Description

Magnetic Drawing Pad for Tactile Play, Learning and Fine Motor Practice

Lift, press, draw and erase with 380 securely enclosed magnetic balls.

The Kaiko Magnetic Pad turns simple mark-making into a highly tactile activity. Run the included magnetic stylus across the board to lift the tiny magnetic balls into place, then press them back down with a finger to erase and start again.

Draw, write and practise

Use the 380-hole board for pictures, letters, numbers, sight words, tracing, noughts and crosses or free play. The stylus offers a pencil-like grip while the magnetic pull adds extra sensory feedback to each movement.

Satisfying tactile feedback

Pressing the raised balls back into the board creates a bubble-wrap-like tactile sensation. You can also tilt the board and run a hand across the underside for a different sensory experience.

How to use it

Move the stylus over the board to lift the magnetic balls. Press individual balls down with a finger to erase them. Store the stylus in the built-in holder when finished. The balls are secured inside the board and are not intended to be removed.

I took it to work and all my colleagues love it too! Sadly one of the balls seems to get jammed and not raise up fully.

The kids (2, 4 & 6yo) have had lots of play with these boards. They all use it for something different but all enjoy it. Some of the magnet balls get sticky or something and don’t come up but so far they seem to come good with a shake (but that’s a problem when they are half way through their turn haha!)
Thank you !

I bought this for my 90 year father who has dementia. He plays with his great granddaughter's one all the time, so thought he should have his own. It's great for his fine motor skills and also gives him an activity to do. He loves it.
