Stretch, Push and Move Inside a Full-Body Lycra Sock
A soft, stretchy body sock that gives the whole body gentle resistance during movement and play.
The Australian Made Lycra Body Sock creates an enclosed, flexible space for stretching, pushing and moving against the fabric. Made from 80% nylon and 20% Lycra, it moves with the body and can be used for active movement, imaginative play or a quieter cocoon-like break.

Step inside and press outward with the arms, legs or whole body. The four-way stretch fabric provides resistance as you move, giving the wearer clear tactile and body feedback without adding weight.
Five sizes for children, teens and adults
Choose from Small, Medium, Large, X Large and XX Large. Use the size guide before ordering so the wearer has enough room to move comfortably and can enter and exit the sock easily.
Made in Australia
Body Socks are Australian owned and made in Australia from a breathable nylon and Lycra blend. A wide range of colours is available, with options varying by size.

How do I know which product is best for my child’s unique requirements?
Choosing the right product for your child’s unique sensory requirements involves understanding their specific needs and preferences. Here’s how you can make an informed decision:
1. Consult with Professionals
- Speak with your child’s occupational therapist, teacher, or healthcare provider for recommendations tailored to their sensory profile.
- Professionals can suggest tools that align with your child’s developmental goals.
2. Understand Your Child’s Sensory Preferences
- Identify whether your child is a sensory seeker (craves input) or avoider (prefers less stimulation).
- For example, weighted blankets may help sensory avoiders who need calming input, while body socks might suit sensory seekers who enjoy movement and proprioceptive feedback.
3. Match Products to Needs
- Look for products designed to address specific challenges, such as improving focus, calming anxiety, or encouraging movement.
- Check product descriptions and reviews to understand how others have used them.
4. Start Small and Experiment
- Begin with one or two versatile tools, like a weighted lap pad or fidget toy, to observe how your child responds.
- Gradually introduce more products based on their feedback and engagement.
5. Consider Age Appropriateness
- Ensure the product is suitable for your child’s age and developmental stage to maximise safety and effectiveness.
- Check product labels or descriptions for age recommendations.
6. Safety First
- Choose non-toxic, durable products that meet safety standards, especially for younger children or those prone to mouthing items.
- Sensory Assist provides detailed product descriptions and specifications to help you make safe choices.
7. Ask for Help
- Reach out to Sensory Assist’s customer support for personalised advice or browse their blog for tips and insights on sensory tools.
- Engage with the community through reviews or forums to hear experiences from other parents.
By following these steps, you can confidently choose products that will best support your child’s unique sensory journey.
