What Is a Body Sock?
A body sock is a large, stretchy sack made from durable lycra. Your child climbs inside and the fabric wraps around their whole body, creating gentle resistance and pressure as they move. How Families Use Them
We hear from customers every week about how their kids use body socks. Here are the most common ways:
Morning Energy Burn
Some kids wake up with a lot of energy. Customers tell us 10–15 minutes in the body sock — stretching, rolling, pushing against the fabric — helps burn off that early energy so kids can focus on getting ready for school.
After-School Wind-Down
This is the most popular use we hear about. After a big day at school, kids climb into the body sock and just... decompress. The gentle pressure and enclosed space give them a reset before homework or dinner.
Homework Time
Some kids sit in the body sock while doing homework — the pressure helps them stay in one spot and focus. Others use it as a “homework break” between subjects.
Playtime

Tips for Getting Started
- Let your child explore it on their own terms — some kids jump straight in, others need time to warm up to it
- Use it on a soft surface — carpet, a mat, or grass outside works great
- Supervise younger children — the fabric is stretchy but kids should always be able to get out easily
- Wash on gentle cycle — the lycra is durable and bounces right back

A body sock is for active, whole-body play during the day. A bed sock fits over the mattress for sleeping. Many families have both — one for daytime, one for night.
